we have been distracted

Hey guys, I, well we, have been distracted for quite some time.

 

Lot of stuff has gone down family wise but Ive also had a multitude of health issues crop up one after the other... wrecked kneecap and cartilage , lots and lots of physio, inflamed gallbladder, flu (thanks Rob), throat infection just to name a FEW... Mostly Ive just been trying to deal with the symptoms of the gallbladder issue... the nausea was sickening.. ha ha.

 

Anyway , Im here, back and raring to go. Heres the plan over the next few days..

 

1) Overhaul the blog layout

 

2) Post on my tried and tested page

 

3) Restart the 30 Day Trial

 

4) Update the general blogosphere

 

5) GRAPHICS!!! I feel like my approach to graphics is a bit... twee.. so lets get graphical

Tomorrow is my physio day and training for work but FRIDAY is gonna be amazeballs!

FRIDAY I'm going to Sothebys in London for a Banksy Exhibition and then Im going to Soho for the new Gorilla Perfume Shop and THEN I'm going to Camden for the FIRST TIME EVAAAA!

i have been lazy

Sorry guys, ive been exceedingly lazy and unmotivated or last month or so. Shit hit the fan and a lot of things went wrong and then they got better and then they went wrong again...
I haven't finished my 30 day trial like I promised. Seems a bit daft now anyway.


I passed my probation for those of you who didn't know

Id like to promise that Ill keep doing this properly week to week but I literally have zilch effort. My knees been playing up - its been confirmed Ive been walking around on a dislocated cap for about 8 months... Im having physio twice a week, and now my eyesight is playing up... well. eye... its my dodgy squinty eye that no one likes that's always been lazy.

So after everything happened to kinda screw me up emotionally.. now my body is playing catchup physically and losing... My knee is never going to be 100% ever again - YIPPEE and its possible that it may come to surgery.

Lol I feel like a little old lady held together by duct tape and glue.

if its not on eBay.. somethings wrong

I believe I have managed to find a downside to eBay... shocking I know, I can hardly believe it myself.


There are NO B.H.S quilted bedspreads on eBay *sob* .... This is such and old maid request but I don't care... its too warm for my huge ass duvet but too cold for my sheets... I hate this unsure weather shiz that's going down... HURRY UP AND EITHER BE SUNNY AND WARM AND SUMMERY OR JUST BE COLD AND RAIN...

I genuinely despise being uncomfortably warm when I sleep, I'm such a fussy old Bertha I need taking out and shooting.

and ANYHOO faithful readers - I can see that you all have been looking at my tried and tested updates *YAY - Happy dances* ... I can also see that no one has commented *despaired face*

I genuinely need feedback otherwise I don't know how you guys feel about seeing my ugly mug minus makeup in my huge old baggy PJ top ;) . Actually, straight fact, I don't know if you guys are liking my blog either - be it my posts or the tried and tested page(s)

P.S. no guys, I haven't changed my mind, Prometheus is still a naff Sci-Fi  film and doesn't deserve the title of Science Fiction since there are no ethical scientific practices or even health and safety practices in the film. I stand by my opinion

the HAITUS is ooooover!

Hey guys,

So long story short, I have a old laptop (old is basically anything over 3 years in laptop speak - very rarely do they last much longer than 5 years) and my poor laptop is just about to reach its 5th birthday and is slowly giving up the ghost...

SO im trying to backup everything from here onto my portable hardrive (best gift ever) before it dies. HOWEVER, I am going to persevere and try to carry on updating my blog and my 30day trials. But I may unexpectedly not post - please note I do most of my facebooking, twitter and instagram on my phone and not on here, so ill update those instead!

Anyway update number 2: I have infact been away since my last post - 1 week in very windy and sunny Malta has done me a world of good... my bank balance not so much ;) duty free was too tempting and to be fair at least I wasn't 7kg OVER the baggage weight unlike my bestie .... I somehow bought loads and came back with less =/ still haven't figured that out but I'm not complaining.
But yeh, my skin is in fab condition - sunburn and a sheer tonne of Charity Pot has done wonders for my bod and my face is looking pretty damn fine ;)

Also had a lot of good news since I've come home so hopefully I'll start sleeping again and the Panda look will disappear. Got to spend a lot of time with my big bro - I rely on him a lot even though he lives 300 miles away and I miss him when he's not here. But he's back up north again with all my money and spoiling my niece and nephew. LOL and he's just learnt how to plait my nieces hair - his first attempt wasn't bad, I'm looking forward to seeing the results of French plait attempts! My dad has finally got the all clear about his heart which is amazing and more than I could of dreamed of! That panic is over, thank F**k.

I'm in desperate need of a night out, but being rather skint it'll have to wait but hey-ho.

So there, lots of updates and bits of news for you all to mull over and comment on. Im not updating the trial tonight because I'm feeling lazy and I have all of tomorrow off to sort it out ;p

ISSUES!

APOLOGIES GUYS!!
Ive been having problems with my beloved 5 year old laptop and the Wi-Fi. Im pretty certain its giving up on life by slowly choking to death on its own heat and slowly dissolving fan . I am literally hi-jacking my brothers PC to write this post.
So for now I am afraid that my 30 day test is on hold until I can work something out =S . Kinda irritating as I am literally going away next week and you guys wont get to see my fabulous tan ;) when I get back.
BUT I am promising : KNOWLEDGE ABOUT TEA TREE, LAVENDER and MANDARIN OIL too. As well as the odd new product from Lush . 
PLEASE stay tuned as I promise to update as soon as I can - even if I have to secretly continue my late night hijackings and abusing my Orange Phone contract ;) 


Dont forget guys, its Mothers Day and you should all be HONORING your Mums because she will forever be the best woman in your life and you never know whats around the corner.

I HAVE NOT LOST FAITH IN THE HUMAN RACE!

It has taken me a while to have faith in people I haven't known very long.
I kinda had a rant a while back that basically people sucked.... yada yada yada.

BUT! there is a but here (lol ... butt)

The peeps I work with at Lush Romford are amazing. They really are. Like not only do they know what they're talking about, but they give me the confidence to do my job and talk to customers and they teach me stuff that I seem to just absorb like a sponge.
Not just that but I love the fact that although we have a job to do, we have fun doing it and there has never been even the tiniest inkling of even a hint of a bad thought from any of them.

So LUSHIES IN ROMFORD today is dedicated to you for making me feel like an amazing person day in, day out, looking after me when I had a crap Christmas, teaching me, making me smile and telling me a little bit about yourselves too ;) I feel like one of you and I plan on staying that way.

You have restored my faith in the human race, you have opened my eyes to ethics and values and animal free testing. You have also turned me into an addict (Lush is contagious!) and a convert to solid shampoo, fresh face masks, having a facial routine other than babywipes and meat-free (almost) March.

I'm still gonna eat bacon =D

Baths are amazing...

Well, sitting in the tub with bubbles and ducks n things is amazing, not the fixture itself. That would be a tad weird.

As many of you know I now work for a rather smashing company called Lush. Its amazeballs and to be quite frank has had quite an effect on me. Working with an awesome team, with products that change your mood in an instant and uplift you to new levels, as well as the ethics and the campaigns they run and take part in..

So - as people keep asking me I'll be straight (and I am not sure if Im allowed to say this so any Lush managers please set me straight on this) - Lush staff are given a 50% discount with the proviso that they take home the products and try them out themselves because lets be honest, people talk about things much better from experience.
I mean, everyone could talk the talk but when you talk about something you have tried and tested, its so much more genuine.
