Quite simply, I love the first picture because it reminds me of my time in Belize where I held a wild male Green Iguana that was over 5ft long. It was painted by my good friend PixieCold who can be found here : http://pixiecold.deviantart.com/ ... feel free to buy me that picture!!!!
And the second picture is the first time I ever saw the sea monster known as Cthulhu. I love the scale of this picture, it just screams immensity to me. This picture can be found on this direct link here: http://shadow-net.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48#/d1jyid1 . Again feel free to buy it for me XD

All of the above are photographs taken by myself over the last 10 years. The top picture is 'Converse Accessories' taken around 2008/2009. The middle picture is of the Rose Garden in Sewerby Gardens, somewhere north of Cambridge. And the bottom picture is of handmade poppies at Ventnor Botanic Gardens.
The painting below is one I found on DeviantArt (found here - http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=dreams+of+elysium#/d5chpnl) and is my current desktop background =) and the Paint drawing below is a work of art by my niece who is just shy of 2 years old.

Images of the Day - 19/11/2012:

I took this a few years ago on Portland Island. The view is looking back onto the mainland with Chesil Beach on the left and Weymouth on the right . This is available as a print, if you are interested in a copy, on my DeviantArt profile which I will link at the bottom.

And this image was sneakily taken on my phone on a flight to Malta in 2011. These are the Alps from over 30,000ft up , I am pretty certain that we were in the Italian region (or so the airplane information told me). Again this image is also available as a print.

For prints and more of my photos and drawings, feel free to go to this address and have a gander. Although most of my images are not currently available as prints, I will happily make requests available.

And some funnies:

(this one is by a friend of mine on DeviantArt - HellCorpCEO and is entitled 'Please do not ride the Gemsbok)

Images of the Day - 15/11/2012:

I took this earlier this year in Belize in Central America on Glovers Reef. This is the edge of the reef about a mile from the drop-off zone (if you have watched Finding Nemo - yes this means the big scary end of the reef into the 'Big, Blue'. The clarity was brilliant, you could see for a good 30m in all directions, we even saw a Nurse Shark as well as Jellyfish and Lionfish. A word to the wise about Lionfish, when the dive master decides to poke his dive knife at a pair of lionfish... make sure you are well over 10m away, its rather disturbing when they start flaring their lethal spines in your direction 0.o

All along the reef you caught glimpses of various big marine inhabitants, but my fave was this Spotted Ray complete with Remora guard. It came out of nowhere, swam directly beneath me so close I could have touched it (don't worry, I'm a well trained Marine Enviro AND diver, I didn't touch) and its true what they say, they literally do fly through the water. So pretty too.

And now for a few pics that just make me giggle ;)

Feel free to email me your favourites or the ones that make you laugh and I'll post them up here too =)
